Dog Supplies
Dog supplies should never be in short supply for a new dog owner. A puppy needs lots of toys to interact with, or it might create some of its own out of items you might not appreciate. Whether its balls, squeaky toys, or even a pig’s foot make sure your puppy has plenty of stimulation.
It’s also wise while training your dog to keep plenty of treats handy to teach it tricks and to reward it. But don’t use them so frequently that they no longer value the reward but think it’s their do. Dog supplies such as these should only be used sparingly.
Unless you don’t mind sharing your bed with the dog, a dog bed is another useful investment. Get your dog acquainted with the bed and they will quickly learn that it is theirs. This gives the dog a sense of safe haven and retreat, especially if the dog lives with smaller children who may play too rough. These basic dog supplies will help your puppy grow up healthy and strong.
